Hello! I am Ashley. I understand that sometimes life doesn't look the way you wish it did. Trauma can disconnect us from our own bodies, making the familiar feel foreign. This disconnection leaves us feeling like wanderers, lost in a vast, uncharted wilderness. Seeking solace, we yearn to find our way back to a place where we truly belong. We are here to support you through your challenges and help you find your inner strength and resilience. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore your emotions and experiences, and work towards healing and growth. Above all, I believe that for us to experience true peace, our minds and bodies must first feel at home (which can feel impossible with our emotions and bodily sensations causing havoc and chaos on a daily basis). The most powerful thing I do in therapy is walk long side you as a fellow traveler on this journey, sharing my own humanness and encouraging you to embrace yours. I will ask you to give yourself permission to face what you have been avoiding, embrace it, and give it a home. I will assist you in building all the skills and resources needed to brave the wilderness that is your mind and body and create a feeling of trust and safety within yourself.
